Difference Between Training and Development

Training is helping the employees to learn new required skills that will enable them to be proficient in their current roles. Development, on the other hand, indicates preparing an employee for the future in a holistic manner.

The staffing process other than selection and recruitment has now inducted training and development.

Though we very frequently use the terms training and development together, they are entirely two different concepts.
